Senator Ishaku Abbo Defends Himself Against Allegations on Brekete Family Show

Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo has vehemently defended himself against serious allegations made by a woman, Wange David, on the popular reality radio show, Brekete Family. The former senator, who represented Adamawa North, appeared on the show to clear his name amidst accusations of blackmail and revenge pornography.

Wange David had initially accused Abbo of drugging her and subsequently releasing intimate videos of their private moments to blackmail her. She made these claims during an interview on Trust TV and reiterated them on the Brekete Family show. However, in a surprising turn of events, David later publicly apologized and asked for forgiveness on the same show, raising questions about the credibility of her earlier accusations.

Abbo, addressing these allegations, presented evidence including videos and documents to support his innocence. He pointed out inconsistencies in David’s statements, emphasizing that her multiple versions of the story were clear indications of dishonesty. Abbo’s appearance on the show was streamed live on Facebook, where he passionately defended his reputation and refuted the claims made against him.

In response to these allegations, Abbo, through his lawyers, issued a 72-hour ultimatum for Wange David to retract her statements and offer a public apology. The legal notice warned that failure to comply would result in a lawsuit for defamation and other legal actions to prevent further dissemination of the false claims.

The incident has sparked widespread attention, not only because of the serious nature of the allegations but also due to the high-profile nature of the personalities involved and the platform on which the drama unfolded.
