Nigerian Defence Academy Celebrates Historic Victory as Pilot Officer David Sangokoya Wins Prestigious International Sword of Honour at Royal Air Force College Cranwell

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has proudly announced the exceptional achievement of Pilot Officer David Sangokoya, an Officer Cadet of the NDA, who has made history by becoming the first African to be awarded the prestigious International Sword of Honour for 2024. This extraordinary accolade was presented to him during the Modularized Initial Officers’ Training (MIOT) Course 22 at the Royal Air Force College Cranwell (RAFCC) in the United Kingdom.



Pilot Officer Sangokoya’s outstanding performance, which earned him a nomination to the MIOT course, was further solidified by his remarkable success as the Best International Cadet on the program.
