In a riveting development, Charly Boy, the renowned activist and founder of the “OUR MUMU DON DO” movement, recently took to his official X handle to announce a successful rescue operation that has gripped the nation. Security agents, acting on precise intelligence, stormed a notorious kidnapping den in the Ajide Forest of Ado Local Government Area, Benue State, leading to the liberation of 20 medical students held hostage by a ruthless gang.
The high-stakes operation was personally coordinated by Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser, who directed the efforts from Abuja. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, Ribadu’s team successfully pinpointed the location of the kidnappers’ hideout deep within the forest.
As the security forces surrounded the den, the kidnappers attempted to use the students as human shields in a desperate bid to avoid capture. However, the situation took a dramatic turn when a top police sniper, with nerves of steel, neutralized one of the kidnappers with a precise shot to the head. The remaining two kidnappers, gripped by fear, made a frantic attempt to flee but ran straight into the hands of the waiting police officers.
Charly Boy commended the Nigeria Police Force, noting that when they choose to act decisively, they are capable of delivering a “clean job.”
The 20 rescued students were immediately taken under the protective wing of Nuhu Ribadu and are currently undergoing thorough medical examinations. They are expected to be reunited with their relieved families on Monday.
This successful operation stands as a testament to the capabilities of Nigeria’s security apparatus when fully mobilized, offering a glimmer of hope in the ongoing battle against kidnapping and insecurity in the country.
