Adamawa State Governor, His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development and the overall well-being of the state’s citizens. In a recent announcement on his official social media X channel, the governor highlighted his engagement with a group of district heads, where he discussed crucial strategies aimed at fostering peace, prosperity, and sustainable development across the state.
“Today, I had a fruitful discussion with our district heads, focusing on our shared commitment to maintaining the peace and prosperity of Adamawa State,” Governor Fintiri stated. He further emphasized that his administration is not just about making promises but about taking concrete actions to uplift the people of Adamawa.
As part of these efforts, Governor Fintiri has directed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to ensure that district heads receive essential capacity-building training and the necessary support to enhance their service delivery. “Empowering our traditional leaders is key to effective governance at the grassroots level,” he noted.
The governor also reaffirmed his administration’s focus on tackling poverty, preventing illegal activities such as unauthorized mining, and promoting lawful, sustainable development. “We were elected to act, not to complain. Our priority remains the welfare of our people, and we will continue to pursue policies that address the root causes of poverty and insecurity in our state,” Fintiri asserted.
