In a passionate declaration shared on his official social media X platform, Governor Mutfwang highlighted the critical role of collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in curbing the scourge of substance abuse that has plagued communities across Plateau State.
“During my recent visit to the NDLEA headquarters in Abuja, I had the privilege of meeting with Brig. Gen. Muhammad Buba Marwa (Rtd), the agency’s Chairman/Chief Executive,” Governor Mutfwang revealed. “I commended Gen. Marwa for his unwavering dedication to combating substance abuse nationwide and expressed our administration’s profound gratitude for the support we’ve received in Plateau State.”
Governor Mutfwang’s commitment to the fight against drug abuse is unwavering, as he emphasized the devastating impact of this epidemic, which has touched nearly every family in the state. He underscored the importance of strengthening the partnership with the NDLEA, particularly in enhancing intelligence networks to dismantle the supply chains of these dangerous substances.

In addition to his meeting with the NDLEA, Governor Mutfwang also held strategic discussions with the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Doris Anite, aimed at revitalizing small-scale businesses in Plateau State.
