His Excellency, Caleb Mutfwang, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, has reaffirmed his administration’s resolute commitment to tackling the growing menace of illicit drugs in the state. In a passionate declaration shared on his official social media X platform, Governor Mutfwang highlighted the critical role of collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in curbing the scourge of substance abuse that has plagued communities across Plateau State.

“During my recent visit to the NDLEA headquarters in Abuja, I had the privilege of meeting with Brig. Gen. Muhammad Buba Marwa (Rtd), the agency’s Chairman/Chief Executive,” Governor Mutfwang revealed. “I commended Gen. Marwa for his unwavering dedication to combating substance abuse nationwide and expressed our administration’s profound gratitude for the support we’ve received in Plateau State.”
Governor Mutfwang’s commitment to the fight against drug abuse is unwavering, as he emphasized the devastating impact of this epidemic, which has touched nearly every family in the state.
