Development Motivation: Fintiri Lauds Sincerity Of Opposition Govt.From Stanley Mijah, Yola.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has said that the double prestigious Infrastructure Awards of his administration given even by an opposition government was an affirmation and acknowledgment of sincerity, transparency in governance, and a great demonstration of unparalleled commitment to development infrastructure and reward for hard work.
The governor who was speaking at a socio-political interactive Assembly on Policy Project and Program Sustainability held at the Banquet Hall of Government House Yola, said that his government had demonstrated enough evidence and commitment to attract global attention under the current towering experience.
According to him, Adamawa has not only moved from grass to grace but is gradually occupying its rightful place among the League of Developing States owing to its accelerated development posture and policy development initiatives.
Fintiri who was represented at the occasion by his Deputy, Professor Farauta Kaleptapwa, stated that virtually every household in the state had felt the impact of good governance of his regime through well-articulated policy initiatives and implementation in the areas of education, agriculture, empowerment, social justice, and infrastructure.
He said that these policies and programs can only be sustained and protected through the effective utilization and development of an enduring maintenance culture by the Adamawa population to keep alive the legacy.
He called on all Stakeholders and friends of his government to work assiduously towards protecting these legacies for a better future.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Principal Special Adviser to the Governor on Social Mobilization and Chief Organizer of the event, Dr. Victor Dogo drew the attention of the public to the towering achievements of the administration saying that the governor has not only broken the jinx of underdevelopment but has reinvented a new Adamawa and brought it on the petals of development, new political orientation and economic direction.
Highlights of the event include the electronic transmission of policy initiatives and programs of the administration, paper presentations, and the presentation of certificates of Awards and recognition to individuals who have excelled in various fields of endeavors.
