Kefas Orders Full Scale Probe Into Monarch’s Gruesome Murder.By Stanley Mijah

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has ordered for an indepth investigation into the gruesome murder of the Gara of Chachangi, HRH Alhaji Tanimu Kunbiya and his Son on their way to attend a funeral service in Takum recently.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Digital Communications, Emmanuel Bello indicated that the Monarch and his Son were hacked down to death by unknown killers that fateful evening on their way to Takum for a funeral.
Governor Agbu was said to have described the death of the revered Monarch and his Son as double tragedy and ordered that the perpetrators of such evil be unveiled for justice to take its course.
The governor who was overwhelmed with sadness and shock expressed serious concern saying that, “everyone involved must be brought to justice as soon as possible”.
According to the statement, the governor had called for calm and patience among Takum Residents, promising that his government will do everything within the limits of its power to fish out the Criminals behind the heinous crime within the shortest time possible.
He reiterated his resolve to rid the state of all acts of lawlessness and brigandage, stressing that the era of banditry and criminality will remain a forgotten antique owing to the enhanced security apparatus of the state.
Governor Kefas further commiserated with the entire people of Chanchagi and Takum over the sad event and called for peaceful coexistence as the state is partnering with relevant authorities to secure the state against hostilities and communal violence.
