In a recent meeting with parents of last year’s female scholarship recipients, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State reiterated his unwavering dedication to ensuring that every child in the state has access to education, regardless of financial circumstances.
Through his X official communication handle, the Governor underscored his directive to the Acting Executive Director of the Scholarship Board to initiate the selection process for tertiary scholarships. Notably, female students from government schools with a commendable academic record of 9 credits are to be prioritized for these scholarships, in a move aimed at fostering inclusivity across all tribal and religious affiliations.
