Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State is hosting his counterparts from the Northeast sub region for the 9th regional meeting scheduled to hold on Saturday in Yola, the Adamawa State Capital.
The Pioneer reports that among the Governors who have arrived in Yola since yesterday, include, Chairman of the Forum, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State,
Governor Bala Abdulkadir of Bauchi, Dr Abu Kefas of Taraba and Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State.
According to government sources. Governor Fintiri was to host his counterparts to a gala night last night ahead of their meeting billed for today, Saturday.
A dependable source told the pioneer that the issues on the front burner for deliberation are the overwhelming crippling insecurity situation and mutual cooperation to develop the sub region among others.
