Adamawa State Police command said it has arrested the suspect who gruesomely killed his cousin’s brother in Ganye Local Government of Adamawa State. 30-year-old Idris Mohammed who stabbed his cousin’s brother Friday Alson popularly known as Don G among his peers to death, went into hiding after his brother was confirmed dead.
Pioneer has earlier reported that a young man at a place called Ashakata in Ganye Local Government of Adamawa State stabbed his cousin’s brother with a knife to death after a fisticuffs debacle, caused by the rigorous altercation between the duo over a farmland dispute.
According to the state police public Relations Officer SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje who confirmed the incident, said the suspect, Idris Mohammed was arrested on the 21st of October 2023, in Ganye Local Government and was transferred to state CID for further investigation and subsequent appropriate comeuppance. The suspect and the deceased who are cousin brothers hail from the same domicile in Ganye Local Government Area, Adamawa State.“
