Education Secretary Laud Governors Educational Reforms.Usman Umar

The Education Secretary of Girei Local Government Education Authority, Hon Mohammed B Tela (Dan Amana Girei) has lauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri For making education a front-burner issue and has taken audacious steps to fix the ruins inherited in the education sector through huge investments in infrastructure.

The transformation evinced by the governor via the school’s renovation and employment of over four thousand teachers in Adamawa State will not be over-emphasized, said Hon. Mohammed B. Tela.
Hon B Tela in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Girei within the week, stressed that “the recent Employment of teachers in the primary school across the state by the governor has helped greatly in reducing the inadequacy of teachers in the primary schools.


He stated that the Governor did not only employ but ensured meritocracy, only qualitative teachers were employed.
Moreover, the Education Secretary has also applauded the Governor for the prompt payment of salaries to civil servants especially teachers in the state.
Hon Mohammed B Tela said ” The prompt payment of salaries by the Governor has gone a long way in motivating the staff to give out their best.


The Education Secretary in his alacritical discourse with our correspondent, pointed out that “Recently I received a visitor From Kano State who was surprised to see one of the primary schools transformed by the government and asked me, is this a tertiary institution? I said “No it is one of the primary schools renovated by our Governor.
The Education Secretary Also described Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as a workaholic and selfless politician who is committed to the development of Education and the State at large.
He spurred that the Adamawa people are very lucky to have Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as their Governor. Hon B. Tela also commended the Governor for Appointing the right Calibre of people as Commissioners to run the affairs of various ministries.


He called on the primary school teachers to reciprocate the gesture by being committed to their duties and shun any form of truancy.
He reiterates that as Education Secretaries, they would complement the governor’s effort by making sure that educational development is attained at the grassroots level.
