The name Susarumso E. Jared is a household name among Chamba communities both at home and in the diaspora. His popularity and acceptability among his people stem from his unparalleled generosity, humility, and contributions to the socio-economic life of his people and national development. He is soft-spoken and comes from a humble background with a towering history of community concerns. He can easily be mistaken for clergy by any subtle observer during first or shallow acquaintance. Perhaps his divinely acquired personality and successes may be a product of his early life story bedraggled with revelations of trials, frustrations, perseverance, and repressions. He has weathered fatal storms of life’s struggles and refuses to give up to attain success. His close associates have testified to his humble attributes and the secrets to the attainment of success in his lifetime. Many who have encountered him will always have a story to tell. They have always smiled at home with pleasant and unforgettable memories that stand the test of time. He has remained a source of inspiration to many, a bridge builder, and a community ICON who has persistently promoted the well-being and success of his people. His impressive attainment in life had never blinded his eyes from the reality of sustainable class equality and mutual relationship. This has been his driving force for accommodation, tolerance, and respect for human dignity. To him, tribe or religious differences have never been a factor or basis to explore the essence of humanity and relationships but takes human differences to recreate his society.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Susarumso Ezekiel Nyagang on the 13th of September, 1960 at a village called Gangsanen, Gamu District in Toungo L.G.A of Adamawa State, Nigeria, Jared is the 2nd among the children of Nine (9) of the family. He attended Timbukum LEA Primary School, Toungo under Ganye Native Authority. He proceeded to GSS Ganye in search of further knowledge where he obtained his O’Level Certificate, West African Examination Council (WAEC) in 1979. Jared who was not satisfied with the level of educational attainment proceeded to College of preliminary studies Yola for his IJMB ‘’A’’ Level. Still being propelled by the insatiable desire for further educational pursuit at his tender age, he sought admission into Ahmadu Bello University (ABU, Zaria) where he graduated with B.Sc in Business Administration in 1986. He is also a product of the Nigerian College of Accountancy, Kwal, Jos with ANAN (CAN) IN 2007 and an MBA graduate in Entrepreneurship from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi in 2017.

WORKING EXPERIENCE
Mr. E. Jared is a self-made man who rose through the ranks; he started his distinguished working career at Methodist Boys School, Lagos as NYSC in 1986-1987, he was later employed as Commercial Officer II in the Gongola State Ministry of Commerce and Industries Yola from 1988-1990. He also worked with Highland Bank of Nigeria, PLC as Branch Accountant Liquidation. In 1997 he secured an appointment with National Judicial Institute, Abuja as Senior Audit Officer. He work with them for three years and later got employed at FCSC(FGN)/OAGF. He worked there as Principal Accountant, ACA, CA, Assistant Director, and Deputy Director from the year 2000-2020.
Mr. Susarumso Jared throughout his working career has shown commitment and diligence towards his assigned responsibilities.
CULTURAL/FAMILY BACKGROUND:
Mr. Jared Susarumso E who comes from the Chamba Clan (Damen) called Doka, (paternal) and Laworen Kun (Maternal) has a rich cultural history as a Chamba man. He is a senior citizen of Nigeria who retired from the civil service with dignity and respect. He was born and brought up in Ganye chiefdom. He is a fiery, humble, and generous petrel who always wants to placate the miserable state of the people regardless of their religious affiliation.
With his wealth of experience and his huge professional value, the man, Jared with such a distinguished personality has remained glued to his people and assumed the status of a strong pillar among his community.
Mr. Susarumso is happily married to Mrs. Serah Jared and blessed with four (4) children who are at various stages of educational pursuit.
He retired as a Deputy Director (Revenue & Investment) from the Office of Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF). He is currently into Business Consultancy and entrepreneurship training and promotion.
