Agbu Sets Up Investigative Panel To Resolve Party Leadership Crisis. Stanley Mijah.

The Taraba State Government is billed to inaugurate the constituted special investigative Panel to investigate the circumstances surrounding the leadership crisis of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state on Tuesday, next week.
A statement signed and issued to Journalists by the Chief press secretary to the governor of the state, Yusuf Sanda indicated that the committee is expected to ascertain the causes of the conflicts in the leadership tussle in the state Chapter of the party as part of its term of reference.
It is also expected to unravel the cause of litigation over the leadership position of the PDP in Taraba State and to advise and recommend the best approach to resolve the tussle.
Part of its terms of reference include proffering solutions for lasting peace and harmonious cooperation among party leaders and members in the State to sustain the ideals of the Party among others.
The 14-Member-Panel has Ambassador Idris Waziri as Chairman and Barr Sam Adda as the secretary.
Other members include Hon. Tina Musa, Hon. Joseph Tahwan, Hon. Ibrahim Iliya Agabi, Senator Dahiru Bako, Rt. Hon. Simon Inusa Dogari, Hon. Kabiru Jalo, Hon. Regina Ngange, and Dr. Alfred Yahya Kobiba.
Others are, Hon. Ambassador Musa John, Hon. Mohammed Gwampo, Hon. Nasiru Boboji, and Rt Hon Husseini Ibrahim.
Meanwhile, Governor Agbu Kefas has approved the restructuring of state Ministries and Development Agencies to create administrative convenience and efficiency in public systems.
The twenty-one ministries and Bureaus were created in line with international standards to meet the development aspirations of the state.
In a statement signed by the secretary to the state Government, Chief (Barr) Gebon Timothy Kataps and made available to Journalists, four of the restructured Bureaus, the planning commission, local governments, tradition and chieftaincy affairs, land and survey and solid minerals are now to operate directly under the office of the governor for effective supervision and monitoring.
