Eid-el-Kabir: Agbu Sues For Religious Tolerance. Mijah Stanley

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has stressed the need for the Adherents of the two basic religions, Islam and Christianity to embrace peace and religious tolerance to stimulate peaceful coexistence, harmony and accelerated development of the state.
In a goodwill message to muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-kabir celebration in the state, Governor Agbu urged Muslims to use the occasion for sober reflection and to emulate the virtues and heroic deeds of Prophet Abraham in following Allah’s (SAW) command.
In a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the governor, Yusuf Sanda and made available to the Pioneer, the Governor called on the people of the state and Nigerians to imbibe the culture of obedience, tolerance,love, peace and sacrifice in order to create a new society free from sentiments and segregation.
Dr. Agbu Kefas further encouraged Tarabans to join hands with his administration in its efforts to create a new Taraba of our dream.
According to the statement, the governor had called on the people of the state to pray for the state, the nation, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all other leaders as they work to create a new Nigeria that everyone can be proud of.
The statement acknowledged the unflinching support of the people to his new administration and reiterated his unwavering commitment to develop and improve the socio-economic life of the people of the State.
Governor Agbu further assured the people of the state of formulating deliberate policies to secure the territories and people of the state and to stimulate accelerated development.
