NEWS ANALYSIS OF 2023 EELECTIONS

Charles Chukwuedo’s prediction and analysis of our present 2023 Election in the country, reminded me of Etim Etsen, a football legend of the 80s. He was wounded, therefore not fit to play the match, very crucial match, I forgot with which team country, but it was definitely an International match.
Southerners are always good at propaganda. Lagos -Ibadan press said so many good things about Etim Etsen, especially the negative side effects it would have on the team, if the great footballer failed to make the team that would play that match. So, Etim Essien was fielded among the first 11 that would play that match and your guess is as good as mine. Etim Essien played below expectation. He was even replaced before the half time. Etim Essien was a fantastic footballer, but then, he was wounded, therefore unfit to participate in that crucial match.
We are facing similar situation in Nigeria today. Ahmed Bola Tinubu is good, but he has defects that would make him an ineffective President.
(1) He doesn’t believe in one Nigeria. Fashola, former Governor of Lagos State is among his political sons. He performed excellently well while he was a Governor. For that reason, when APC won in 2015, he was appointed a Minister and 3 big Ministries were assigned to him. All projects were diverted to Southwest and Lagos in particular. Therefore, most of our Federal road constructions in the North became uncompleted for the first 4 years of the administration. Mambila hydro power project had not even started, but Fashola told us that, work had already at the site. It was the Minister that took over from him in their second terms that told Nigerians, even the site has not been cleared.
(2) Tinubu has publicly told Nigerians that he had started missing Lagos State, immediately he is declared the winner of their party’s Presidential primary.
(3) We shouldn’t therefore take it lightly when the rumours that’s now going around that, he intended to relocate Abuja Nigeria Capital city back to Lagos, 6 months if he takes over the mantle of power in May 2023.
(4) The man is even very sick to be able to inherits the numerous problems now facing this country. He would therefore failed woefully as PMB now. If he has solution to our present problems, why can’t he tell or advice PMB now, so that we see improvement in all facet of human endeavour in the administration. APC has failed woefully in managing this country. It’s only selfishness that would make them want to continue with the administration. Tinubu promised to continue where PMB stops. This is laughable.
We lucky, Charles Chukwuedo didn’t say, it is Peter Obi that would win the 2023 Presidential election. Peter Obi too, is an IPOB supporter, who never hides his supports for the State of Biafra. The Governor of his State, Soludo, is the best person that can give the correct and genuine account of Peter Obi’s 8 years stewardship as the Governor of Anambra State.Some of Southerners are very eager to see power returns to their zones by all means. They never care about the enormous problems facing this country and how to solve them.
Atiku Abubakar is the only person who can do that. He is a pan Nigerian unlike Peter Obi and Tinubu. He has the Presidential experience being a Vice President for 8 years. His records are there to tell whoever wants to know how capable is Atiku Abubakar to rule this country. We are not electing Atiku Abubakar because he is a Northerner or from our zone. As at today, we are electing him because he is the best out of the 4 Presidential contenders.
I was a PDP caretaker Chairman of Kano State for 3 months. By my own assessment, Kwankwaso, unlike before, is not in full control of Kano State. He lost his supporters because of his greediness for power. That was why he couldn’t win the 2019 Gubernatorial election. He used to control PDP 100%. Now the party is fractured into 3 parties. PDP, APC and NNPP that now belongs to him. The moment APC and PDP unite, they would easily defeat his NNPP Governor. That was exactly what happened in 2019. His faction and APC joined forces and defeated his candidate. The way those supporters of his described him to me, he won’t be a good President at all.
