SDP Guber Candidate preaches Peace, Decorum In Party.From Stanley Mijah, Jalingo.

The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Taraba State, Hon Danladi Baido has said that the social Democratic Party in the state shall continue to uphold peaceful and constitutional democracy to attract membership and good will from the Nigerian population.
Answering questions from Journalists shortly after the inauguration of campaign coordinators from all the local governments of the state in Jalingo, the Adamawa state capital recently, Hon Baido said that the party is determined to change the ugly narrative of political violence and thuggery which has characterized the political life of Nigerian citizens in the country.
He said that what makes the party different and unique is its peaceful and accomodating posture to create a peaceful and safe polity that will give room for democracy to thrive.
The Gubernatorial Candidate argued that gone are the days where our voting culture is influenced by Party popularity instead of candidates’ popularity and acceptability, emphasizing that Baido is a Household name in the realm of politics in the state.
He said that the time has come for the Taraba population to recover its sanity and liberty by voting a credible candidate who can rediscover the destiny of the state despite its present level of deterioration.
He said that the new hope and political destination of the state lies in the hands and pragmatic choice of a pious and ebullient governor of the state who understands the frustrations of the people over the years.
According to him, the Social Democratic Party provides a perfect answer and solution to the present crippling circumstances of slavery and under development of the state adding that the noticeable political renaissance in the state is the product of prolonged suffering, deprivation and bad governance.
He called on the members of the party and the electorates to be prepared to change the narrative through the power of the ballot and the choice of the Social Democratic Party in the State adding that his appearance on the political scene is to win and not to loose.
Performing the inauguration ceremony earlier, the governorship candidate of the party beckoned to party members and supporters to be peace Ambassadors and to resist the temptations of spoiling for a fight during any slight provocation and destruction of party campaign Bill Boards by miscreants and hoodlums.
