Ahead of the 2023 general election, the President of the Justice Peace and Reconciliation Movement (JPRM) Board of Trustee, and the former General Secretary of the Association of Christian Lay Centres in Africa (ACLCA) Rev. Habila M. Istifanus have declaredly promulgated his support for the PDP candidates who happens to scale through the recent just concluded People’s Democratic Party primaries.
The candidates which include, the presidential flag bearer Alh. Atiku Abubakar, Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Sen. Binos Yaro and Hon. Mohammed Inuwa Bassi were described by Rev. Habila as a sterner stove, the only authentic individuals resoundingly fit for the job.
Speaking in Ganye Local Government of Adamawa State on Saturday, 17/092023 at the JPRM Guest house Gurum Nongvan, Habila said that he decided to publicly announced his support for the aforementioned PDP candidates because of their selfless leadership qualities. Rev. Habila called on all the PDP members to make peace with one another for fortune to smile on them come 2023 general election. He reiterated on the importance of forgiveness among the party members and the party candidates.
In the same vein, Habila ab initio at the gathering reiterated his support on the candidacy of Hon. Mohammed Inuwa Bassi, who he described as selfless generous politician. He said in 2023, Ganye, Jada, Toungo and Mayo-Belwa federal constituency needed a man who can bring the real positive change in the constituency, and appealed for more support from the electorate to vote for Hon. Mohammed Inuwa Bassi in the coming election in order to rescue their only cherish federal constituency from total collapse.
“The seas he says are turbulent like a wrecking ball, but Hon. Mohammed Inuwa Bassi is an experienced sailor. He will sail safely to shore. In the meantime, he beseeches his followers to give Bassi their unflinching support by making sure they get their PVCs ready and safe.”
Hon. Mohammed Basi at the gathering was described by some elder statement as leader with a vision who inspire people to rally round him. They said that Bassi is indeed a selfless generous politician whose benevolence evince cut across political and religion divide, he has indeed given so much back to his community and the State as a whole.
According to them, Bassi is brave at heart and large in vision, and has the fortitude to stand with those that are in need of him even when the times get tough and when doubt becomes as thick as fog. He forges ahead while others succumb to fear. He stands alone when others are tired and sit down, they concur.
On his part, Hon. Bassi Thanked the gathering especially the chief host, Rev. Habila Istifanus for the love shown on to him, saying that he is encouraged by the support and commitment of everybody at the gathering.
Bassi implored the people at the event to pray to God for the good leaders to emerge come 2023 and salvage the country which is already at the verge of precipice.
