AB. HASKE FOUNDATION is among Abdullahi Bashir Haske (CHIROMAN GANYE) offshoots of giving out succor to the less privileged. There is no gainsaying that Haske humanitarian activities have cut across the political and religious divide, he has indeed given so much back to his community and the country at large, though, the fact remains the same as his humble beginnings and the early days of the hardscrabble life of hustle and modest successes, punctuated by failures.
He has shown great enterprise in all his endeavors which focus on helping the masses. I indeed find Abdullahi to be an interesting case study in patriotism because from my admittedly limited vantage point, I have seen including every true citizen and even the strangers, how he uses AB. HASKE FOUNDATION in making the lives of many people better.
The Foundation which has recently taken the lead in humanitarian activities among its contemporaries has been chaired and teleguided by the selfless leadership of Chief Charles W. Bansi. As a pioneer Chairman of the foundation, Wukumfakeni with his team are working tirelessly to see that the aims and objectives of the foundation are been achieved. The Foundation is a non-religion, non-political and non-profit Organization that was established to placate the miserable lives of the masses via its charitable activities.
The foundation also helps in complementing the government’s efforts in its different pursuits to ensure a better life for the people. Many youths who were hitherto jobless were employed with the foundation; some youths were lucky through the foundation’s charitable program which change their lives financially and otherwise. The Foundation has played a significant role in touching the lives of many people positively through different life-changing developmental projects, especially in their various communities.
The records are there to see, as water projects provided by the foundation spread across some communities in Ganye chiefdom and beyond. The Foundation has indeed become so significant concerning the spread of existing proposed and completed water projects in several different communities. Through its humanitarian activities, the Foundation has brought smiles to the faces of many less privileged in so many areas of life. The provision of water projects for the people is not an exception as many people in different places without good water to drink before now have access to and are enjoying good water for drinking and other domestic purposes.
Examples of some places which before now, suffered from the lack of good drinking water and are now been lucky to be provided with boreholes by the AB HASKE FOUNDATION are; Federal Government College Ganye, Samdasini community, Luggere, etc.
The AB HASKE FOUNDATION has also via its humanitarian activities, considered and sympathize with many people who lost their jobs during the Covid-19 pandemic across the globe which turned many families into street beggars with brutish and squalid living. The foundation was able to distribute palliative to 12000 households across the State which brought some respite in the lives of many. The foundation has also constructed two (2) blocks, and six (6) classrooms in GSSS Sugu to help address the scarcity of classes that the school is facing.
During the commissioning ceremony of the classrooms at Sugu in Ganye Local Government of Adamawa State, the technical adviser of HASKE CONGLOMORATES, ISIYAKA MOHAMMED (SIGARIN GIREI), assured the general public that, the scholarship scheme will soon be made available to help tackle the challenges of school fees faced by many students which thwarted them from furthering their education.
The foundation in collaboration with UC EYE CARE as a technical partner sponsored a program of free medical outreach which brought together different medical expert personnel. The team members who include medical doctors, specialists, and consultants came with drugs and medical equipment and treated and operated on more than 4,000 patients free at Ganye General Hospital. It is indeed the heart to help the poor we need, the heart to change the lives of the masses through life-changing programs. Ensuring good health, and the continued happiness of the masses are major priorities we need. AB HASKE FOUNDATION has made most of the people in Ganye’s chiefdom during its free medical services period healthy and happy.
The Foundation also help bring to an end the long period of blackout in FGC Ganye and General Hospital as brand-new Transformers were donated to them.
As part of the duty of AB HASKE FOUNDATION through the altruistic evince of the founder which is to always come to the rescue of the masses in any ugly situation that engulfs them, millions of naira were given out to ameliorate the suffering of the victims of the flood that resulted from a heavy downpour which caused a massive flood, submerging many houses, farmlands, schools, and properties worth millions of naira last year in Jada Local Government of Adamawa State.
The foundation also engages youths in sporting activities as the football competition was organized to promote unity, and peaceful co-existence among the people irrespective of their affiliations. The foundation also believes that the sporting competition will make the youths discover their hidden talents and potential for the development of their various communities, the state, and the country at large.
“The importance of sporting activities cannot be overemphasized to the development of the youths and the society in general.
“Apart from enhancing physical fitness, football also promotes unity, peace, and love and tackles youths’ restiveness in society.
