Community Leader Harps on Unity, Development.

The president of Da’ama socio-cultural Association of the Fali, Gude and Nzanyi people worldwide, Comrade Daniel Yahaya Hudu has appealed to members of the Association not to compromise the unity and interest of the member communities but to preoccupy their minds with issues that promote the socio-economic development of the Area.
Speaking at the cultural Day of the Fali, Gude and Nzanyi communities held in Mubi recently, the president of the Association said that the organization is non religious, non political but a platform conceived to bring together all people of Fali, Gude and Nzanyi extraction to achieve a common goal.
He called on the sons and daughters of the Association both at home and in diaspora to strengthen the bond of unity of the Association and to work towards the realization of the developmental goals of the people.
As part of activities to mark the cultural event, a Book titled, “the advent of Fali, Gude and Nzanyi people” was launched at the occasion alongside the exposition of the cultural heritage of the people.
The information officer of Mubi North Local Government, Titus Irmiya reported that the event which was well attended by the members of the Association both at home and in diaspora was peaceful and successful with significant cultural displays. The Association has Bawudo T. Lams as the Vice President, Titus C. Lawn as the Secretary, Yerima Yusuf Haziel, Auditor, Hycenth Tadu, Treasurer, Yakubu Mayo, Livara Commander, Barrister Magai Vimtim, Legal Adviser, Dr. Ish Jerry, Secretary Livara Security, Bello Buba Muvur, Security Coordinator and Dr. Agiwana Daguzawa, Financial Secretary.
Others are, Malam Sule Baduwa, Adviser on Security and Kilyobas S. Wulgi, Media Director.
Other dignitaries that graced the occasion included, Adamu Barkindo, Chairman Elders Forum, Felix Peter Dbiya, Chairman Mubi North, Gayus Adamu, Mubi South, Andrew Yora, Gombi and Hon Ayuba Bitrus, Chairman Maiha Local Government Branch.
