Looking at how many people lost their jobs during the recent past Covid-19 pandemic across the globe which turned many families into street beggars with brutish, nasty, and squalid living where women stood at the receiving end especially in the third world countries, Justice Peace and Reconciliation Movement (JPRM) under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Habila M. Istifanus, together with one of its donor partners KERKINACTIE, deem it necessary to embark on the program of this kind in order to help women support their vulnerable families. PLATEAU, TARABA, AND ADAMAWA STATES were the States where this project was slated to be executed. In the aspect of income-generating activities (IGA), women were trained on how to start and manage their small-scale business with the support of some token amount or grants after the training.

They are also provided with food and non-food items to support their families and also imbue them with Covid-19 awareness on vaccine and other issues related to that. Presently the program is taking place in some communities of Adamawa State.

Kudus to JPRM and KERKINACTIE.
