PROFILE:
Hon. Boniface Linus Waziri (Fada Boni) has a humble background and a history that speaks for itself. He has come a long way after he weathered a fatal storm and refuses to give up in life; his story was punctuated with frustration and success. Fada Boni was indeed a humble and a caring personality who was not bothered with his status anywhere he found himself.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:
Born on 30th of August, 1956, in Sugu, a District in Ganye LGA of Adamawa State, he attended Sugu LEA Primary school Ganye Native Authority in the year 1962-1969. He proceeded to St. Peters Seminary Yola from 1970-1974, he also advanced to St. Augustine Major Seminary, Jos from 1974-1979 where he obtained General certificate in Education and Certificate in Theology respectively. Thus, at such a tender age with a zeal to be in tune with the dynamic world, he vigorously continues with his education pursued.
He was admitted in to the University of Ibadan from 1980- 1982, Federal Radio Training School, Lagos in 1992 where he obtained Certificate in Philosophy and Diploma in Religious studies. He also graduated at the Olabisi Olabanjo University, Ango-Iwoye, Ogun State with B.A in Peace and Conflict Management from 2016-2019. Other courses successfully attended by Hon. Boniface Linus Waziri are; Basic production in journalism, Course on Management, Effective programme and Human Resources.
WORKING CAREER:
Hon. Boniface Linus Waziri is a self-made man who started his distinguished working career in Women Teachers College (WTC) Sugu, he serves as a class room Teacher in 1979. During his teaching days at the college, he has contributed immensely to the academic excellence of the college.
He also works with the Gongola Broadcasting Cooperation (ABC) Yola, from 1986-1989. He works with the National Orientation Agency (NOA), MAMSER Ganye as the Principal Officer. For his leadership and commitment in raising the standard of education in Ganye chiefdom and the country at large, Fada Boni has been the chairman Non-Governmental Organization for literacy support services, Ganye Local Government chapter from 2002-2005. He is currently a member of the Federal Governing Board, National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC).
Hon. Boniface throughout his working career has shown alacrity towards his assigned duties by his superiors, he always tries to ensure that he has perform excellently well.
CULTURAL AND POLITICAL LIFE:
Hon. Boniface who has been living among his people and helping those who come to him for assistance, had the privilege of coming from the clan (Damen) called Jang’en (Paternal), and Gang kun (Maternal), emphasizing that Hon. Boniface Linus Waziri has a rich cultural history as a Chamba man. Hon. Boniface (FADA BONI), is a Nigerian politician who was born and brought up in Ganye chiefdom. He is a fiery political petrel who always support his political party to grow from strength to strength. Due to his commitment and hard work in the game of politics, he was unanimously appointed to serve as the State publicity secretary of then UPN IN 1983 in the defunct Gongola State.In appreciating and recognizing his immense contribution to party politics, Boniface has selflessly served as Financial Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 1999. As a very strong and resilient grassroot mobilizer who want to placate the miserable state of his people then, he decided to contest for the office of the executive chairman of Ganye LGA under the auspices of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).With the emergence of All Progressive Congress (APC), Fada Boni happens to be one of the founding fathers of the party. Due to his sacrifices to the progress of APC which through him the party has experience the unprecedented torrent of members, who left their political parties to join APC, he was elected as the party vice chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) and later serve in the capacity of Acting party chairman. During his sojourn as the APC acting chairman, the party from the Local, State and national levels experienced a gamut success which eventually led to the emergence of his Excellency Umar Jibrilla Bindow, and His Excellency Mohammadu Buhari as Governor and President respectively in 2015.

With this wealth of experience and his huge electoral value, a distinguished personality and a man of people like Hon. Boniface Linus Waziri shouldn’t be kept at arm’s length; he should be brought closer to any selfless politician that wants to excel politically.
