A well known human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has once again praised the 9th assembly and President Muhammadu Buhari, days after the news electoral bill was signed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to a tweet she made on her verified twitter handle, the popular human rights activist made it known that we will remember the 9th assembly for giving Nigerians a new electoral bill and remember President Buhari for signing the electoral bill into law.
It should be recalled that President Buhari signed the new electoral bill into law on Friday. He signed the bill days after civil society groups protested against his refusal to sign the bill on several occasions.Based on the bill that was signed by President Muhammadu Buhari, I really think that Nigerians should appreciate him for taking such a bold step, because this will help us to conduct a free and fair election in the year 2023. We hope and pray that things will eventually get better very soon for our dear country Nigeria.
