Young man arrested on suspicion of attempted Suicide in Ganye Local Government Area

It was indeed saddening to the family of one mallam Halidu in Luggere at Ganye Local Government where his child was reported to have taken a Gramoxone which is meant for burning down emerged grass and broadleaf weeds. A young man by name Tijani Halidu, who was in his late twenties, found unconscious and rushed to hospital on Thursday after drinking the deadly chemical. The young man was said to have been jilted by his fiancee after proposing to marry her. It was confirmed that the young man who after the effort made by the medical personnel, recovers from the state of coma, was arrested and taken to police custody. The Divisional police officer of the Ganye division, SP Nuhu Y Mohammed has not hesitated to book the young man in to the court of law in Ganye. SP Nuhu said that the young man must face the wrath of the law on suspicion of attempted suicide. He spurred that the penalty of Tijani from the court of law will serve as a deterrent to any young man that is thinking of doing such in a future
