Northern Governor Who May Not Support Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition As He Declares To Contest.

There are indications that Some Northern Governors, under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, may not support the National Leader of the Party, and the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.It should be recalled that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recently declared his Presidential Ambition known to the Public. He made this known to the Public, when he visited President Muhammadu Buhari at Presidential villa, in Abuja.Tinubu informed President Muhammadu Buhari, that he will be contesting Presidential race, under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress APC.However, Tinubu may not get the support of some notable Governors in the country, especially in the north. One of Northern Governors, Tinubu may not get his support, is the Governor of Yobe State, Governor Mai Mala BuniIt should be recalled, that Governor Buni is the National Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC. It was rumoured that the National Convention of All Progressives Congress APC was postponed, because of Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition in 2023.It was also rumoured that Governor Mai Mala Buni, is nursing the Ambition of Vice President, under the Platform of the Party. Meanwhile, Tinubu may not give him the vice Presidential Ticket of the Party.Therefore, the Governor was using delay tactics, to Postpone the date of the National Convention of the Party. It should be recalled that date, of the National Convention of the Party that was initially slated to hold by February, has been Postponed.Though, it was clearly stated that, the Convention, is being Postponed, because of the crisis, rocking the Party in some states, but an one of the executive of the Party, made it known that, the Governor is using the delay tactics.It was also gathered that, Governor Buni want to remain the Chairman of the Party, until the his Loyalist, is given the Presidential ticket of the Party, so that he be given the Position of Vice President.As a result of this, Governor Buni may not support Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition, because Tinubu, may not consider him for the Position of Vice President, in 2023. It should be recalled that, Tinubu is a Muslim and Governor Buni is a also a Muslim. Therefore, It might be difficult for the Party, to Present Muslim/Muslim Presidential ticket, in 2023.
