The secretary of the Adamawa Women in politics (ADAWIP) Hon Comfort R. Ibrahim has call on the government and politicians to try and ensure the inclusion of women in their political appointments and also give them opportunity to contest for the different political seats in the state.
Hon Comfort made this known when she lead the members of the organisation to the office of the newly elected APC state chairman Honourable Ibrahim Bilal at APC state Secretariat Yola.
She however said ” They are in his office to congratulate him over his victory as the second term chairman who will going to pilot the affairs of the All Progressive Congress Adamawa state in the next four years.
She urged the leadership of the party and the Government at all level to give women all the necessary support in their quest to represent their fellow women in politics.
In his response Hon Ibrahim appreciated the visit and assured the group that, every effort must be exacted in other to uplifts the women at all level.
Hon Bilal said ” Adamawa state APC belong to women but the are the one who used to denied it , in 2019 we gave two women senetorial candidates tickets in the state they failed one.
Finally he prayed for the organization to succeed in all their activities.
