The clashes between headers and farmers has been one of the problems facing Nigeria for long, it was gathered that some herds men brutally butchered one Sunday Yayirus and his brother yesterday in a village called Gangzamanu near Toungo Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Sunday who is a lecturer with the Federal Polytechnic Ekiti came home for break to assist his father who is a peasant farmer that sponsored him to the level of Master of Science Degree through farming lost his children at the time he is supposed to reap the fruits and dividend of his labour. This is a great lost that only God can console the father and the entire family from the shock.
The entire community are appealing to the Government to intervene by providing lasting solutions to this menace, this is because poor farmers are suffering in the bush. There are many rising cases of herders invading farm lands in that axis. More than fifty farms were invaded in the past three weeks, the earlier the government intervene by means of compensation and bringing an end to this menace the better for the sustainance of peace and tranquility in that area before the farmers retaliate.
