The Dumna community in Guyuk local Government Adamawa state has been thrown into mourning mood as Baba Joel Adamu join his ancestors at the age of 118 years
Baba Joel who is the father of Mrs Gloria Tarfa Alexander, a staff of commercial department Adamawa press Limited Yola publishers of the Scope news paper passed away on 28 Nov 2021 at the Guyuk cottage hospital after a brief illness.
While condoling the family, the General Manager of the Adamawa press Limited Malam Danjuma Buba who was ably represented by the staff officer of the organisation, Mrs Angelina Ahmadu who leads the delegation, prayed to God to grant the family of the deceased a fortitude to bear the great lost.
Until his death, Baba Joel Survived by many Children , grand children and great grand children .
As a retired Army, he was among the War veteran who fought the second World War.
He served his community as Village head during his lifetime.
His funeral will held at Dumna on 6 Dec 2021
