His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is described as champion of democracy in Adamawa state. The just concluded PDP state Congress in Adamawa state is an eye opener and symbol for a hitch free forth coming National Congress.
His Excellency Gov Doye Diri of Bayelsa who is the returning officer for the state Congress was elated by the conduct of delegates and also commended the organizers especially His Excellency Fintiri for his umpteenth support for a successful and credible Congress, which is first of its kind in the history of Adamawa state.
The elected party Executive were simultaneously sworn in after all votes cast in a peaceful and remarkable manner.
Shortly after the event, the returning officer, took back to Abuja as accompanied to the airport by the sitting governor AUF.
Ironically, on his way back from Yola International Airport, His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on reaching Lamido Cinema, venue where APC members are conducting their kangaroo Congress, surprisingly the supporters of APC were seen chanting fresh air, the ATM governor as Fintiri was passing by. As usual, the humble governor acknowledges the chanters by winding down his car side glass in midts of his convoy and waved back, wearing a smiley face with heart full of love and contentment.
This is an indication that people of Adamawa are in full support of Mr integrity, the project master irrespective of party affiliation.
