the Director General of the Progressive Governors’ Forum advice former president Goodluck Jonathan not to contest for 2023 presidential election

Over the years, there have been allot of political crises in Nigeria & this issue have made some political stakeholders in Nigeria to be defecting from the All Progressive Congress to the People’ s Democratic Party while some have defected from the PDP to APC.

This has become a controversial issue in Nigeria as the political crises have continued to loom in the country.

Meanwhile, there have been allot of speculations going in Nigeria that the former president of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan wants to join the All Progressive Congress party but Jonathan have always come to the media & declared that he doesn’ t have such interest in moving from PDP to APC.

Different Nigerian citizens have always told Jonathan not to join APC so as not to damage his good reputation in Nigeria.

In another development, the Director General of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Dr. Salihu Lukman, has told former President of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan against not to context for the 2023 presidential election so as not to damage his good reputation in Nigeria.

This was contained in a press statement issued by Lukman.

While interviewed by the press, he said & I quote:

” President Goodluck Jonathan should not context the 2023 presidential election so as not to damage his good reputation in Nigeria” .

Continuing with his speech, he said:

President Jonathan should not context election in Nigeria because he deserves to be given moral leadership roles.

If President Jonathan agrees to join the APC and he fails to emerge as the presidential candidate of the party, it will be a big shame on his

reputation.
